No One Is Too Far For God To Reach | Devotional By Chad Nathan

Sometimes I stop and think about how different my life looks now compared to where I was not that long ago.

I have believed in God for as long as I can remember, but believing in God and surrendering your life to God are two different things. For a long time I was trying to do life in my own way, make my own decisions, and follow my own plans. God was there but I wasn’t always living like He was the Lord of my life. Now I look at my life and honestly just have to thank Him.

These days, I’m usually in church four or five times a week. I’m spending more time studying His word, getting opportunities to serve, learning, and growing. And somehow God has even called me into ministry.

The more I grow my relationship with God, I realize He doesn’t need me. He isn’t calling me into ministry because He needs my abilities to accomplish His purposes. He’s calling me because He wants to do something in me.

The studying, serving, and time in His presence is changing me. What I once thought was about what I could do for God, I’m learning is really about what God wants to do in me and through me.

If God could reach me when I was distant, distracted, stubborn, and determined to do life my own way, then He can reach anyone.

No one is too far for God to reach.
